Currently, I primarily assist the People & Culture department at Avallone, while finishing my Master’s degree at Copenhagen Business School in Management of Innovation and Business Development. My position in Avallone, however, allows me to gain insight in different departments and have roles and tasks in different projects related to for example marketing or sales.
Before joining Avallone, I’ve had some internships and worked in start-ups. Finding a start-up where I can have an impact on the company and working with something highly relevant to my studies was essential to me. Avallone allowed me to experience a steep learning curve from day one, and I’m still learning new things on a daily basis. It’s been an interesting journey so far, and I’m excited to see where my time with Avallone will take me.
Having lived in multiple countries in the past year, I highly appreciate the international and diverse team at Avallone. I wanted to work somewhere with a non-hierarchical mindset - where I could grow and be part of something from the ground up. I’ve found all of those things at Avallone and have been able to grow with the company since day one.
From day one, I really felt that my contribution mattered, and my managers have always been able to help me grow through constructive and timely feedback. I believe that it is rare, as a student worker, to feel that your voice is being heard and that your opinion counts.
